Quartz Reef Motel takes its name from the gold-bearing quartz reefs once worked throughout this district — a nod to the town's mining past and the ground our gardens now grow from. We're an independent, family-owned motel with decor that leans gently into that bygone era.
Every room opens onto a verandah and a pathway that winds through quiet gardens with a swimming pool and a covered barbecue area. Mornings here start with birdsong rather than traffic, and more than a few guests find themselves booking their next stay before they've even checked out.
